Beverly L.W. Sunn, President

Sunn, SGMS, President of Asia Pacific Properties (APP), is a real estate and relocation specialist whose professional career spans more than 25 years in the U.S., Hong Kong and China. Founder of APP in Hong Kong in 1985, Beverly built the company to an enterprise which today has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. APP serves a client base of Fortune 500 companies and specializes in establishing real estate strategies and mobility programs in the APAC region, with a particular focus on China. Beverly is the first Chinese American female entrepreneur to set up a real estate & relocation company in Hong Kong. A pioneer of the relocation industry in Asia, she expanded the APP real estate & relocation model into China as one of the first international entrants as a wholly owned foreign enterprise (WOFE) in China in 1995.

Today, in addition to consulting on program strategies and handling international business development, Beverly serves on the Members’ Leadership Board of NAI Global, the premier network of independent commercial real estate firms. She serves as the Chairperson on the International Advisory Council of the Chicago-based Leading Real Estate Companies of the World™, the largest network of top independent regional and global brand-name brokerage firms in residential real estate. Beverly recently completed a 3-year term on the Board of Directors for Worldwide ERC® (Employee Relocation Council) the relocation industry’s leading association, headquartered in Washington D.C.

In Hong Kong, Beverly is actively involved in civic life. She is a former president of The American Club Hong Kong (the first and only woman to occupy the post in the club’s 80-year history), a past chairperson of the Ladies' Committee of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society and former board member of the Hong Kong chapter of the International Women's Forum (IWF).

Beverly speaks regularly at international conferences sponsored by organizations such as The Economist Group of the United Kingdom, the EXPOREAL in Germany, the London-based European Relocation Association (EURA), the Institute of Human Resources in Australia and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LRE).

Born and raised in the U.S., Beverly holds a B.A. in psychology and a M.S. in social work from Boston University. She maintains her real estate qualifications through ongoing professional programs focused on law and ethics.
